The Mariners stated Monday that Donovan's concussion symptoms are starting to improve, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Donovan was placed on the 7-day concussion injured list Sunday after he was struck by a ball in the batting cage over the weekend. He's eligible to be activated from the IL on Saturday in Toronto, though it remains to be seen whether he'll be ready. Donovan's progress over the next few days will likely determine whether he's able to be activated following a minimum stay on the shelf.
