The Mariners recalled Davis (hamstring) from Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday and placed him on the 60-day injured list.
Davis hasn't played in a game at Tacoma since late May while recovering from a strained left hamstring. His move to the 60-day IL won't affect his return timeline, but it will free up a roster spot for Stuart Fairchild, who was selected to the active roster in a corresponding move. It's unknown how far away Davis is from returning.
