The Mariners placed Wilcox on the 15-day injured list Friday with a strained left oblique.
Wilcox was forced from Thursday's game with the injury after allowing four runs (three earned) on three hits and one walk across two-thirds of an inning. Nick Davila was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma to take Wilcox's place in the bullpen.
