The Mariners activated Snider (knee) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday and optioned him to Triple-A Tacoma.
Snider is over his left knee contusion but will remain with Tacoma, where he had been on a rehab assignment, rather than rejoining the big club. He should get another shot in the Mariners' bullpen down the line.
