Santos was removed from Wednesday's game versus Boston due to an apparent injury, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Santos was removed from his appearance last Wednesday due to a right knee injury, though it's unclear if his early exit against the Red Sox was due to a similar issue. If the right-hander's knee is once again bothering him, the Mariners may opt to place him on the injured list this time around.
