Crawford was called up from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday and is starting at shortstop against the Red Sox, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
The 24-year-old headed to Boston prior to Friday's game after Dee Gordon and Dylan Moore each suffered wrist injuries in the last couple days. Crawford was raking at Tacoma with a .319/.420/.457 line through 31 games but slashed only .214/.319/.393 over 49 games with the Phillies in 2018 before being acquired by the Mariners in the offseason Jean Segura trade.
