The Mariners designated Vosler for assignment on Monday.
Vosler will cede his spot on the Mariners' 40-man roster to lefty reliever Austin Kitchen, whom Seattle claimed off waivers from Miami. Before he was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Aug. 8, Vosler enjoyed a two-week run in the big leagues with Seattle shortly after the All-Star break, slashing .179/.233/.286 over 10 games. The 31-year-old corner infielder is likely to go unclaimed off waivers.
