Machi had his contract purchased from Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.
Machi worked his way back to the majors after spending all of 2016 in the minor-leagues. The 35-year-old recorded four saves across eight scoreless appearances (eight innings) with Tacoma this season. Given he hasn't posted an ERA under five in the majors since 2014, he'll likely only be used in lower leverage situations.
