Sardinas saw his first action of the season Tuesday as a pinch-hitter , going 1-for-2 with a pair of RBI. He'll parlay that into a spot in the lineup Wednesday against Rangers' right-hander Colby Lewis. Sardinas is naturally a second-baseman, but he does have the versatility to see time in the outfield when the situation calls for it.
