France went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored in Friday's 12-3 loss to the Astros.
As a team, the Mariners got absolutely pounded by their division foes, but individually, France came out of this game quite alright. He accounted for half of his team's hits and wound up just a triple shy of the cycle. The Mariners have to love what they've gotten out of France after last year's trade with the Padres. The 27-year-old is slashing .290/.360/.455 with 14 homers, 56 RBI, 62 runs scored and 30:79 BB:K over 478 plate appearances.
