Miley (shoulder) was activated from the disabled list prior to his start Wednesday against Pittsburgh.

Miley was placed on the 15-day DL on June 17 after injuring his shoulder during his June 12 start. He made one rehab start with short-season Everett, pitching four perfect innings while adding seven strikeouts. Prior to his injury, Miley had been struggling in his previous few starts but the Mariners are hopeful that his time off will give him a chance to regroup. On the year he has posted a 5.28 ERA with a 1.38 WHIP during 76.2 innings of work.
