Norby went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Friday's 9-4 win over the Giants.
Norby stretched the Marlins' lead to 8-0 in the fourth inning with his blast off Adrian Houser. This was Norby's first homer since April 13. The infielder is batting .244 with a .756 OPS, three long balls, 10 RBI, seven runs scored, five doubles and no stolen bases over 90 plate appearances this season. Norby has operated as the Marlins' primary first baseman lately, though that could change once Christopher Morel (oblique) is activated from the injured list.
