Cooper isn't in the Marlins' lineup Saturday against Baltimore, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
After going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts during Friday's game, Cooper will sit out Saturday to regroup. Yuli Gurriel will take over as Miami's first baseman and bat fifth.
