Burger is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.
After seeing his six-game hitting streak come to an end with an 0-for-4, two-strikeout showing in Saturday's 4-3 win, Burger will get a breather for the series finale. He'll give way at first base to David Hensley in what amounts to Burger's first day off since July 25.
