Rangers' Jake Burger: Three hits in Saturday's win
Burger went 3-for-5 with a run scored, two RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Blue Jays.
All three hits were singles, but it was still a productive afternoon for the first baseman. The multi-hit performance was Burger's third in his last six games, and over his last 18 contests he's batting a sizzling .377 (23-for-61) with three doubles, four homers, eight runs and 13 RBI. Saturday's steal was only his second of the year, but that's good enough to establish a career high for Burger.

After going hitless through the first six games of June, Burger is batting .370 (20-for-54) with three doubles, four homers and 11 RBI over last 16 contests. He's up to 14 homers and 48 RBI through 78 games on the season.

Burger went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-4 extra-inning loss to the Padres. He was also hit by a pitch.
Burger gave the Rangers a 3-1 lead in the seventh inning with his 13th of the season. That extended a seven-game hit streak for the first baseman, who is a modest 7-for-26 (.269) during that stretch with four extra-base hits, including two HR, and five RBI. He got hit on the right hand in the ninth and was in obvious pain, according to Matt Postins of SI.com, but Burger was cleared by team trainers and finished the contest at first base.

Rangers' Jake Burger: Contributes to comeback win
Burger went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-6 win over the Royals.
Burger was involved in the Rangers' three-run, walk-off rally in the ninth inning. His single plated the game-tying run before Ezequiel Duran won it with another single. For Burger, the RBI was his team-leading 37th. After an April that saw him hit .170 and dredged up memories of the early-season struggles in 2025 that eventually led to a demotion, Burger has responded in May by slashing .286/.343/.516 with five home runs and 18 RBI over 25 contests.

Burger went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's 6-5 win over Arizona.
Burger matched a season high in RBI on Wednesday, knocking multiple hits for the ninth time this year as well. The 30-year-old first baseman hasn't been all that effective at the plate overall in 2026, but the Rangers are lacking viable alternatives at the cold corner to push Burger for action on a consistent basis. Through 159 at-bats, Burger is hitting .226 with seven homers, five doubles and 27 RBI.
