Nelson went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run and two RBI for Low-A Greensboro in Monday's loss to Lakewood.

He started the season on the shelf recovering from a quad injury, but since Nelson has returned to action, he's done nothing but rake. The 19-year-old is currently riding a 15-game hitting streak during which he has a .356/.409/.492 slash line, although his 5:21 BB:K in those 15 games indicates how much work he has yet to do at the plate. The Marlins' No. 5 prospect was seen as a raw athlete with speed and the tools to be a solid defender at the hot corner coming into the season, but so far in 2017 he's showing some impressive growth as a hitter.
