Bour (ankle) was sent back to Miami on Tuesday to undergo an MRI, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Tuesday marks the third straight absence for Bour, who sustained an ankle injury during Saturday's game against Atlanta. The Marlins are hoping he'll be able to avoid a stint on the DL, and more information on that front figures to be available following the MRI. Miami will close out a three-game set with the Mets on Wednesday, and at this point it seems unlikely Bour will be available. The Marlins are then off Thursday before opening their final first-half series back home Friday against the Reds.
