Meyer (neck/rib) has yet to be cleared to resume a throwing program, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Meyer landed on the 15-day injured list just after the All-Star break with a neck strain, and he more recently suffered a rib injury that required a cortisone shot. The right-hander is rehabbing at the Marlins' spring training complex in Florida, and it's unclear when he will be cleared to throw. With just over a month remaining in the regular season, Meyer is running out of time to get stretched back out to return as a starting pitcher.
