Fairbanks left Monday's game against Boston due to nerve irritation, Stephen Strom of Marlins Radio Network reports.
Fairbanks dealt with a similar issue back in May, as he was placed on the 15-day injured list due to nerve irritation in his right hand. It's not clear if he's dealing with the exact same issue, but he'll be re-evaluated Tuesday to determine whether a trip to the IL is necessary.
