Okert (groin) was placed on the 15-day injured list Thursday, retroactive to March 27.
Okert developed adductor tightness in his inner left thigh toward the end of spring training and figures to miss at least the first couple of weeks of the 2023 regular season. He can be a high-leverage option for the Marlins whenever he's fit again for MLB competition.
