Edwards will start at shortstop and bat leadoff in Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.
Edwards was mysteriously out of the lineup for three consecutive games last Tuesday through Thursday, presumably due to an unreported injury. He still appeared off the bench in two of those contests and has since reclaimed his spot in the Marlins' everyday lineup, as he'll be picking up a fifth consecutive start Wednesday. If Edwards is still playing through an injury, it hasn't been evident on the basepaths, with the 25-year-old nabbing a pair of steals in his four games since rejoining the lineup.
