Nimmo broke the game open in the Mets' big fifth inning, launching a three-run shot off Aaron Nola to extend New York's lead to 6-0. The homer was Nimmo's first in nearly a month -- he'd gone 15-for-72 (.208) with a .543 OPS in his previous 20 contests. The 31-year-old outfielder is now slashing .226/.337/.396 through 603 plate appearances this year with 19 homers, a career-best 78 RBI, 79 runs scored and 13 steals.
