Vogelbach is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Washington, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Vogelbach started the past four games but will head to the bench Tuesday with lefty Patrick Corbin on the mound for the Nationals. Mark Vientos (foot) will bat fifth as the Mets' designated hitter in Vogelbach's place.
