Hughes was activated off the injured list Sunday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
The veteran right-hander missed summer camp and the start of the season after testing positive for COVID-19, but he's now ready to make his 2020 debut. Hughes had a 4.04 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 54:27 K:BB over 71.1 innings last season and should fill a middle-relief role for the Mets.
