McNeil (wrist) went through a full workout Sunday at Citizens Bank Park and hopes to be ready to play if the Mets advance to the NLCS, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Working his way back from a fractured right wrist, McNeil has taken batting practice, fielded grounders and run, with facing live pitching being the next box he needs to check. He has a little less than a week to convince the Mets he should be on their NLCS roster if they're able to top the Phillies in the NLDS. If McNeil is ultimately included on the roster, it wouldn't necessarily be in a starting role. He's been sidelined since early September.
