McNeil is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

The lefty-hitting McNeil will once again give way to Jose Iglesias at second base with a left-handed pitcher (DJ Herz) on the mound for the opposition. Iglesias will bat eighth in place of McNeil, who should continue to see the bulk of the playing time at the keystone when the Mets oppose right-handers.
