Winker is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Twins, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Minnesota is sending right-hander Pablo Lopez to the hill, but the left-handed-hitting Winker will nonetheless begin the tilt on the bench. Jeff McNeil will start in right field while Jose Iglesias handles second base.
