Quintana (6-9) took the loss Tuesday against Baltimore, allowing seven runs on eight hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.

Quintana struggled with the long ball Tuesday, giving up a two-run homer to Anthony Santander in the first inning before James McCann extended New York's deficit to 6-1 with another two-run shot in the fourth. The 35-year-old Quintana's struggled to an 8.46 ERA while going 0-3 in his last four starts. His ERA is up to 4.57 on the year with a 1.32 WHIP and 106:52 K:BB across 134 innings. Quintana will look to right the ship in his next outing, currently scheduled for this weekend on the road against a hot Padres lineup.
