Fisher had his contract selected by the Mets on Sunday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Fisher has pitched in both Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Syracuse this season, covering a total of 72 innings as a starter and reliever. He maintained a 3.38 ERA and a 71:31 K:BB and will now be set for his big-league debut. Fisher will occupy a low-leverage role.
