Alonso went 3-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI and three runs scored Thursday against the Rockies.
Alonso touched up Colorado starter Austin Gomber for both homers, capping a four-run first inning with a two-run blast, then launching a second dinger off the lefty in the third. It was Alonso's second multi-homer game of the season and his fourth game with at least three RBI. The slugging first baseman is now slashing .246/.331/.476 with 51 extra-base hits including 25 homers, 63 RBI, 67 runs and 49 walks across 493 plate appearances.
