Gore pinch ran, stole a base and scored a run in a 7-3 win Sunday over the Pirates.
Gore entered the game in the eighth inning as a pinch runner for Tomas Nido. He promptly stole second base and advanced to third on a throwing error, scoring later on a single by Brandon Nimmo. Since joining the Mets on Sept. 1, Gore has pinch run three times, stealing a base each time. He has 43 stolen bases while compiling just 79 plate appearances in his eight-year big-league career.
