Taylor is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Taylor had started in five of the Mets' previous six games, but he'll likely fade back into a short-side platoon role in the outfield moving forward. In addition to getting center fielder Harrison Bader (ankle) back in the lineup following a five-game absence, the Mets will have the newly acquired Jesse Winker pick up his first start with the team in right field. Brandon Nimmo, Bader and Winker will likely form the Mets' preferred outfield trio against right-handed pitching.
