Taylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
Taylor had started in each of the Mets' last three games, but one of those starts came against a lefty, and another came while Harrison Bader was getting some rest coming off an ankle injury. With the Mets outfield at full strength, Taylor looks to be fourth in line for playing time behind Brandon Nimmo, Jesse Winker and Bader.
