Ruiz went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 8-7 loss to the Reds.
Ruiz launched a solo shot in the second inning, his second home run of the year and his first as a National. He's gone 15-for-30 (.500) with five multi-hit performances over his last seven games. The rookie catcher is now 19-for-63 (.302) in 17 games since being recalled from Triple-A Rochester.
