Harper was optioned to Triple-A Rochester on Tuesday, Matt Weyrich of NBC Sports Washington reports.
The righty has impressed in 9.2 innings of relief this season, allowing just one run across eight appearances. Harper has also walked just two batters, displaying a level of command that may result in more big-league opportunities at some point in 2021.
