Nationals sign Tony Campana to deal through 2016 season

Free agent outfielder Tony Campana has signed a contract with the Nationals, which will go through the 2016 season, according to CBS Sports Baseball Insider Jon Heyman.

Campana has made a quick recovery after suffering a torn ACL in February and has been performing baseball activities for a month. He could provide the Nationals with a late-season bench option, according to Heyman.
