Nationals' Tony Campana: Assigned to minors camp

Campana was assigned to minor league camp Monday.

Campana missed all of 2015 with a torn ACL, which prompted the White Sox to release him prior to the season. The Nats signed Campana to a minor league deal last August, and the 29-year-old returned to baseball activities during the offseason. Campana figures to begin the year in Triple-A, the level at which he appeared in 100 games for the Angles and Diamondbacks organizations in 2014.
