Burnes allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five over six innings in a no-decision versus the Rays on Saturday.
Burnes saw a 17-start streak of going at least six innings snapped last Sunday, but he was able to get back to that mark in this outing. The Orioles weren't able to preserve the one-run lead he exited with, but they won 7-5 after an eighth-inning rally. During Burnes' aforementioned streak, he recorded 16 quality starts, and he's up to 19 of them in 24 outings this season. He's added a 2.71 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 137:35 K:BB over 149.2 innings. The right-hander is projected for a home start versus the Red Sox in his next appearance.
