Burnes didn't pitch into the sixth inning for the first time since April 2 and set his season high in runs allowed at five. Still, the Orioles put up nine runs, leaving the 29-year-old with his third win in four starts. Burnes surrendered a three-run homer to Josh Naylor in the fifth inning, marking his eighth long ball allowed in as many starts. Burnes is tied for the fourth-most wins in baseball while recording a 2.63 ERA across 143.2 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Rays in Tampa Bay on Saturday.
