McCann is day-to-day after being diagnosed with a twisted ankle Saturday, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.
McCann started behind the plate but exited after suffering the injury while sliding into first base. The injury doesn't appear to be particularly serious, but it's possible the Orioles temporarily bring up an extra catcher to provide cover for Adley Rutschman until McCann is good to go.
