Bridwell had his contract selected by the Orioles on Friday.
Bridwell posted a 3.99 ERA through 18 starts with Double-A Bowie in 2015, but had his season cut short after coming down with a bout of elbow inflammation in his throwing arm. He's expected to be ready to go by the start of next season, but he'll likely start out back at Double-A.
