Dixon was recalled Saturday to serve as the 27th man for the two-game series in Mexico City against the Giants.
Dixon, who can play all four corner spots, will be up as a depth option for these two games at altitude in Mexico. The 31-year-old is slashing .364/.463/.773 with five home runs and three steals in 12 games in the Pacific Coast League.
