Padres' Drew Pomeranz: Placed on 15-day IL

Pomeranz (elbow) was placed on the 15-day injured list Thursday, retroactive to March 27.

Pomeranz was delayed this spring by lingering elbow inflammation, but he did recently resume mound work and might be ready to hop into the Padres' bullpen sometime before the end of April.
