Hays is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
On the bench for the second day in a row, Hays' standing as an everyday player for the Phillies is seemingly in flux while he's produced an underwhelming .254/.275/.373 slash line since joining the team in late July. Johan Rojas took Hays' spot in the starting outfield in Tuesday's 10-9 win, but Weston Wilson will replace him in the series finale in Toronto.
