Sosa is batting eighth and starting at third base against the Mets in Game 2 of the NLDS on Sunday.
Sosa didn't play in Game 1 of the series Saturday, but he'll move into the lineup for Game 2 while Alec Bohm begins on the bench. Per Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Phillies manager Rob Thomson referred to Sosa's energy in explaining the decision to make the switch. During the regular season, Sosa slashed .257/.313/.422 with seven home runs, 31 RBI, 39 runs and seven stolen bases over 272 plate appearances.
