Suarez didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 9-4 win over Tampa Bay, allowing four runs on 12 hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out two.
The 12 hits given up by Suarez are a new season high. The left-hander's been in a rut of late -- he's failed to make it through six innings in seven of his last eight starts, posting a 6.02 ERA in that span. Overall, Suarez is 12-6 on the season with a 3.05 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 134:33 K:BB across 24 starts (138.2 innings). He'll look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for early next week in Milwaukee.
