Bart went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Mariners.
Bart belted a sixth-inning George Kirby fastball 430 feet to right-center to put the Pirates on the board. It was the 12th homer of the year for Bart, who has earned his way into the heart of the order for the Pirates. Over his last 19 games, Bart is batting 24-for-72 (.338) with six homers, 16 RBI and 15 runs while collecting multiple hits in seven of those contests. Bart, who's currently the Pirates' primary catcher, has begun to earn additional time at DH and with Andrew McCutchen currently on the shelf. Expect Bart to remain a fixture in the lineup even when he's not starting behind the dish.
