Fedko (knee) signed a minor-league contract with the Pirates on Thursday, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Fedko was designated for assignment by the Twins on Tuesday, and he has now found his next opportunity with the Pirates. The outfielder underwent surgery in early August to repair a torn ACL, MCL, and LCL in his left knee, and he is going to be sidelined for the rest of the season as a result.
