Callihan went 2-for-4 with a walk and a three-run homer Sunday against the Reds.
Callihan got the Pirates off to a fast offensive start with a three-run homer in the second inning. That marked his first long ball since June 10, spanning a 14-game stretch during which he had hit .211 with three RBI and four runs scored. Despite the strong showing Sunday, Callihan could be on the outside looking in for playing time due to the return of Konnor Griffin and the emergence of Esmerlyn Valdez.
