The Rangers transferred Winn (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list Friday.
Winn was placed on the injured list Aug. 31 with a right rotator cuff strain, and moving to the 60-day IL will ensure he remains out for the rest of the season. His place on the 40-man roster will be given to Michel Otanez, who was selected to the active roster Friday.
